La oficina de la Defensoría del Pueblo en Piura exhortó a las autoridades regionales a impulsar todas las acciones necesarias para proveer suficientes equipos de protección al personal sanitario, tras recibir quejas sobre la escasez de estos implementos. La falta de equipos de protección ha originado renuncias e, inclusive, el cierre de un establecimiento de salud, situación que pone en grave riesgo a la comunidad.

Comparing structures, legal basis, methods and effectiveness with others can create a driver for strategic improvement and provide validation. Based on the practical experience from peer reviews a new IOI Best Practice Paper was developed and is now available online.

Within Article 27 of the Convention (work and employment), we conducted a survey focusing on mapping the conditions of and impediments to employment of people with disabilities in the public sector. Indeed, we assume that public administration should lead by example in creating appropriate working conditions for employees with disabilities.
