Ombudsman Sindh facilitates the issuance of complainant‘s number plate and an apology by the responsible police officer
A complainant alleged that the Excise, Taxation and Narcotics Control Department failed to issue him the number plates of his vehicle despite payment of charges due to which he faced inconvenience and harassment by road side police officers. On intervention of the Ombudsman Sindh, the agency issued his number plate and also the traffic police officer submitted an apology through a written statement for his misconduct.

Role of Ombudspersons in advancing the rights of older persons
The Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel presents the findings of an international survey conducted in 2022, in which 55 Ombudsinstitutions from around the world participated. The survey addressed a number of issues, including the difficulties encountered by older persons in using the digital services provided by Ombudsinstitutions and the barriers preventing older persons from filing complaints.

The Ombudsman Institution releases 2022 Annual Report
In accordance with the national legislative framework, the Institution of the Human Rights Ombudsman of Bosnia and Herzegovina submits an Annual Report on the results of its work in the previous year to the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the Parliamentary Assembly of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the legislatures of the entities – the National Assembly of Republika Srpska and the Parliament of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The annual report 2022 is now available.

In order to point out concerns related to human rights in recent years, the Federal Public Defenders' Office (DPU) released the Defenders’ Report "The situation of Human Rights in Brazil". The document spans 354 pages and outlines the need for the Brazilian State to channel investments into structural solutions that prioritize vulnerable populations.
