According to findings from a major repeated survey by the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), black people in the EU face unacceptable difficulties in simply finding somewhere to live or getting a decent job because of their skin colour. Ontario Ombudsman’s advanced investigative training course welcomes participants from around the world
This year, the Ontario Ombudsman’s annual investigative training course, “Sharpening Your Teeth” (SYT) was held in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, from the 5th to the 7th of November 2018. Senior Ombudsman staff have trained hundreds of ombudsmen, investigators and other watchdog staff at this Toronto course and at customized, on-site SYT courses throughout the world – most recently in Manitoba, Canada; The Hague, Netherlands; and Anchorage, Alaska.
