Ombudsman Hong Kong presents two investigation reports
The Office of The Ombudsman held a press conference on 28 January 2016 to announce the results of a direct investigation report and a complaint investigation report, namely “Government’s Implementation of Strengthened Control of Exhaust Emissions from Petrol and LPG Vehicles” and “Handling of Food Safety Complaints by Food and Environmental Hygiene Department”. The press conference also covered a brief report on the work of the Office for the year of 2015 (January to December 2015).

Office of Investigator General transitions from an executive Ombudsman to a Parliamentary Ombudsman
The Office of the Ombudsman in Zambia has undergone a number of changes, which will be beneficial to the public in terms of more efficient and effective service delivery. On 5 January 2016, His Excellency Mr Edgar C. Lungu, the President of the Republic of Zambia signed the Constitution Bill Number 17 of 2015 which amongst other clauses changed the Office of the Investigator General to the Office of the Public Protector.
