IOI | Webinar on the IOI Regional Subsidies held on 31 August 2026

On 31 August 2026, the IOI General Secretariat successfully conducted its first webinar on the IOI’s Regional Subsidy Program. It welcomed representatives from various institutions in four different IOI regions. After warm words of welcome by the Executive Director, the participants received vast information on the requirements to apply for subsidies and the steps in the application process. The webinar ended with a Q&A – Session in which the institutions had the opportunity to ask detailed questions.

The IOI’s Regional Subsidy Program is an initiative which is being approved by the Board of Directors since 2011. Under this program, member institutions in good standing can apply for funding for the implementation of their projects. The total budget was raised to EUR 60,000, and will be equally distributed among the IOI’s regions. Interested institutions can apply for funding through the application form until 30 September 2026 by e-mail to the IOI General Secretariat.
