The Ombudsman Office of the City of Zurich celebrates its 50th anniversary. It is the oldest ombudsman office in Switzerland and the oldest municipal ombudsman office in Europe.

Ombudsman Pierre Heusser presents the 50th annual report of the ombudsman's office. In addition to a review of the anniversary year, the report focuses on the importance of the law for any administrative action. The employment law of the City of Zurich is given special consideration. In addition, the ombudsman takes a look at the current efforts of the city of Zurich against racism. As every year, the report contains selected case studies and statistical data.
