UK | The Ombudsman, coronavirus and crisis management

The Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman (PHSO) has today published an interim report of the findings of a survey of members of the International Ombudsman Institute.

“The Ombudsman, coronavirus and crisis management” highlights key findings about the challenges faced by Ombudsman organisations globally, the challenges brought about by the Covid-19 crisis and the strategies being used to tackle them.

The survey received 52 responses from 36 countries and captures information about organisations’ operations, how they have adapted to new challenges and expectations about future complaints.

The research, carried out by Ombudsman Rob Behrens and Research and Insight Manager Alastair Galbraith in June 2020, will be published in full early next year. If you have any questions about the report, please contact Alastair Galbraith.
