BackOn 23rd July, 2025, a group of SZABIST students were honored with Brand Ambassador Certificates by Mr. Muhammad Sohail Rajput, Hon’ble Ombudsman (Mohtasib) Sindh in a special ceremony held at the Mohtasib Secretariat.
The students informed that most of people, they interacted were not aware of the Ombudsman Institution and those who knew had no confidence on the working of the Institution. The Ombudsman stated the purpose of choosing youth is to disseminate our role and function to common men specially to our target population i.e. marginalized community living below poverty. He emphasized the student to approach lower middle class. The students were confident that they had spread the message effectively to people and suggested to Ombudsman Institution, various means such as linkedin, facebook, etc to vigorously carryout the awareness campaign and give them the opportunity of practical experience in Ombudsman office and showed interest in internship programme, the details of which will be shared with their university. Ms. Zehra Zaman, one of the Ambassadors showed her work that how she informed the students and general public about the working of Ombudsman through posters and presentation which was appreciated by the Chair and asked her to share her presentation with this Institution.
The students were acknowledged for their active role in creating awareness and representing SZABIST with dedication and responsibility.
