An electronic ballot was recently held to fill the vacant position of Second Vice-President of the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI) and the candidacy of Adv. Kholeka Gcaleka received the clear and solid support from IOI members around the world.
Adv. Gcaleka’s long experience in serving as a member of the IOI Board of Directors and Chairperson of the African Ombudsman Research Centre (AORC) is invaluable. The commitment she showed as Regional President of IOI Africa was highly appreciated and she will bring the same enthusiasm and professionalism to her new role in the IOI’s Executive Committee.
The IOI congratulates Adv. Gcaleka on her election. She will hold the office for the remaining term of the current IOI Officers, i.e. until the next IOI General Assembly (scheduled for 2028).
