International Mediation Congress entitled "An approach to Conflict in the Global Agenda"
The International Mediation Congress “An approach to Conflict in the Global Agenda” will be held on July 5, 6 and 7, 2022 in Rosario, Argentina.
This event will be relevant across the five continents, with renowned national and international experts participating on a hybrid in-person and remote mode. Simultaneous Spanish and English interpretation will be available.
The focus of this Congress is Conflict. We will be analyzing its possibilities of intervention within the agendas of right-protecting institutions, and we aim at producing excellent theoretical and practical materials that will have an impact on the current realities of our country and abroad.
This year marks the 30th anniversary since mediation became a subject of research to be integrated into the Ombudsman Office of the Province of Santa Fe. The Center for Mediation and Conflict Resolution of this institution also turns 27 this year. This Center inspired the creation of more institutes of its kind in Argentina. In celebration of these milestones, the Ombudsman Office of the Province of Santa Fe organized this International Congress with support from the International Ombudsman Institute (IOI), the Ibero-American Ombudsperson Federation (FIO), the Latin American Institute for Ombudsman-Defender of the People (LAIO) and the Association of Ombudsmen of the Argentine Republic (AOAR).
