UK | PHSO starts to regularly publish casework

On Thursday 29 April 2021, PHSO started the routine publication of their primary and detailed investigations on their website. You can view their cases on their new publishing platform. They published around 15 of their decisions and will continue to publish cases on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month. The number of cases they publish will gradually increase over the next few months.

In our 2018-21 corporate strategy they committed to publishing more of their casework online to help drive improvements in public services. You will be able to easily access the detailed findings from their investigations at a click of a button.

PHSO will always remove any personal information that identifies individuals. The organisation will be identified to enable them to make improvements and so that other organisations can learn from the complaints PHSO resolve.

They have used feedback from stakeholders throughout the past two years to inform the development of this platform. They are eager to hear from PHSO website users to ensure that PHSO are meeting their needs. To let PHSO know how they can further improve the platform, contact digital@ombudsman.org.uk.
