BackA widow approached the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh for delay in payment of pension and other service dues in respect of her deceased husband who was an employee of Agriculture Department, Government of Sindh and expired during service.
To redress the grievance of the complainant Ombudsman Sindh issued directives to the authorities concerned to initiate enquiry in the matter. As a consequence of the Ombudsman’s timely intervention the scrutiny process was expedited by the agency and the entire outstanding pension and commutation dues amounting to Rs. 2,787,679.00 were paid to the widow.
The complainant appreciated the role of the Ombudsman for taking prompt action and providing speedy justice to her.
