PAPUA NEW GUINEA | Ombudsman Commission publishes bi-monthly newsletter

The Ombudsman Commission of Papua New Guinea published the most recent edition of its bi-monthly newsletter. Read about the highlights and activities within the Ombudsman Commission in the months of November and December 2020.

The newsletter reports about the case of a retired soldier, who contacted the Ombudsman when he was put off the payroll while still awaiting his final entitlement for voluntary retirement to be processed, or the case of a community health worker who will be paid a considerable amount in industrial allowances after the Ombudsman’s intervention.

The Ombudsman further takes the opportunity of this newsletter to welcome a new officer in his legal service team and to bid farewell to three of the office’s long-serving employees.
