The Ambassador Programme successfully concluded
The Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Secretariat hosted the final follow-up session and certificate distribution ceremony for the Ambassadors from Ziauddin University on 30th June 2026, marking the successful conclusion of the Ambassador Program.
As part of the concluding session, the student ambassadors demonstrated remarkable initiative by producing an informative awareness video highlighting the mandate of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, the types of complaints and issues handled by the institution, and matters falling outside its jurisdiction. The video effectively conveyed the role of the Ombudsman in promoting administrative justice and reflected the students' comprehensive understanding of the institution's functions.
Building upon their awareness efforts, the ambassadors also presented the findings of a survey they had independently conducted among approximately 85 respondents from the urban, educated segment of society. The survey explored public awareness of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh, willingness to approach the institution for grievance redressal, reasons for any reluctance, and overall public perceptions of the Ombudsman's office. The presentation provided valuable insights into existing levels of awareness and highlighted the positive impact of the Internship and Ambassador Programs in increasing public understanding of the institution.
The Honourable Provincial Ombudsman Sindh appreciated the dedication, professionalism, and creativity displayed by the students throughout the program. He commended their research-based approach, acknowledged the quality of their awareness initiatives, and offered constructive feedback to further strengthen their future academic and professional endeavors.
The session concluded with the distribution of certificates among the ambassadors in recognition of their active participation and valuable contributions towards promoting awareness of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh and its role in ensuring good governance and administrative accountability.
