The special edition of the Newsletter is now available
The Office of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh is sharing a Special Edition of the Provincial Ombudsman Sindh Newsletter (Vol. XXII), prepared in response to the HIV outbreak among children at Kulsumbai Valika (SESSI) Hospital, Karachi.
This edition documents the Office's findings from its site visits and hearings, the directions issued by the Ombudsman to address the immediate medical and educational needs of affected children, and a discussion of the stigma faced by affected children and their families, along with a facts-versus-myths section aimed at addressing it. To ensure it reaches affected communities directly, this edition has been printed in four languages: English, Urdu, Sindhi, and Pashto.

The office is sharing this Special Edition with fellow Ombudsman institutions and partner organizations in the spirit of open exchange on matters of child protection and public health governance.
