IOI President Chris Field and Vice President Europe Rob Behrens share their concluding remarks upon their return from an official visit to Ukraine and express words of thanks as well as appreciation.

The Chief Ombudsman of Thailand, Mr. Somsak Suwansujarit, along with the Thai Ombudsmen, hosted the first occasion of the Southeast Asian Ombudsman Forum Meeting (SEAOF Meeting) from 31st October – 2nd November 2022. 

On 1st November 2022, the SEAOF+ Meeting was held with a strong commitment to enhance the capacity of SEAOF member institutions by providing a forum for exchange of knowledge, experiences and best practices as well as promoting regional and international cooperation among Ombudsman community.

At the closing ceremony of the SEAOF Meeting and the SEAOF+ Meeting on 2nd November 2022, the Chief Ombudsman of Thailand, Mr. Somsak Suwansujarit, handed over the symbol of the SEAOF Chairmanship to Mr. Mokhammad Najih, Chairman of the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia.

On Wednesday, 30 November 2022, the Ombuds institutions of the Kingdom of the Netherlands met in Curaçao for their annual meeting and focused on fighting poverty in the Caribbean.
