The Office of the Ombudsman has published "Strategy 2025" - its strategic plan covering the years 2022 to 2025. It follows a record year for the Ombudsman with over 4,000 complaints received in 2021 about public services provided by government departments, local authorities, the HSE and others.

The Office of the Commissioner for Human Rights published the 14th Annual Report of the National Mechanism for the Prevention of Torture (NMPT) concerning its activity in the reporting period from 1 January to 31 December 2021.

This "Fairness by Design" guide is an assessment tool that can be used by public organizations across Canada to ensure they have fair decision-making processes and are fair in the design and delivery of their programs. The guide was developed by the Canadian Council of Parliamentary Ombudsman (CCPO).

Commissioner of Official Languages, Raymond Théberge, issued a statement on 17^th August in response to Statistics Canada’s release of the 2021 Census data on language.

La presidenta de la Comisión Nacional de los Derechos Humanos (CNDH), Rosario Piedra Ibarra, atenta a su mandato de proteger los derechos de todas las personas y en el marco preparatorio de las mesas de diálogo que organiza el CENADEH, se reunió con representantes de colectivas a favor de los derechos de la niñez, y con víctimas que buscan justicia y un alto a la vulneración de sus derechos y el de sus hijas e hijos.

Los hijos e hijas de personas privadas de libertad concurrieron a la U3 para compartir un día en familia junto a sus padres por el Día de las infancias. Las celebraciones fueron posibles gracias a las donaciones realizadas por entidades y personas particulares.
