El día 24 de agosto de 2023, desde la Defensoría de Niñas, Niños y adolescentes representada por el Defensor a cargo Gabriel Savino y miembros del área de Relaciones Institucionales se participó de la Reunión XXII de la Red de Niñez de la Federación Iberoamericana de Ombudsman (FIO).

Chief Ombudsman Peter Boshier has signed a three-year Bilateral Cooperation and Support Arrangement with the Vanuatu Ombudsman, which will see the two offices work together on projects and programmes that will promote transparency and fairness and strengthen their relationship.

Provincial Ombudsman Sindh intervened in a complaint case filed due to delayed payment of internship for subject specialist interns. Thus, 1200 subject specialist interns of SE&LD in the Province of Sindh received Rs. 864.000 million on account of payment of stipend.

El defensor del Pueblo de Santa Fe a cargo de la Defensoría de Niñas, Niños y Adolescentes Gabriel Savino, participó el viernes, el 18 de agosto de 2023 de una reunión con representantes del Poder Judicial, del Ministerio de Seguridad de la provincia y autoridades de la Unidad Regional II con el objetivo de articular acciones para el abordaje integral y protocolizar prácticas que cuenten con el enfoque de niñez y adolescencia.

On 9 July 2023, the staff of the Office of the Ombudsman participated in a symposium on the topic "Accessibility and Customization of the Investigation Procedure for Persons with Disability". The symposium, which took place at the main office of the Ombudsman in Jerusalem, focused on the verbal and written communication between staff of the Office of the Ombudsman and complainants with disability. The symposium was chaired by a blind staff member of the Office of the Ombudsman.

The Hon'ble Provincial Ombudsman, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Syed Jamalud Din Shah, inaugurated the Ombudsman Regional Office on August 08, 2023. Alongside the inauguration, an awareness campaign to the public about the role and responsibilities of the Ombudsman Institution took place at the University of Swat. This awareness raising campaign was supported by the IOI's Regional Subsidies Program.
