El Defensor del Pueblo solicita información a las comunidades autónomas sobre los retrasos en la valoración de personas con discapacidad
El Defensor del Pueblo, Ángel Gabilondo, ha iniciado actuaciones de oficio con los departamentos competentes de las comunidades autónomas y las ciudades autónomas de Ceuta y Melilla para recabar información sobre las demoras que se están produciendo en la valoración de personas con discapacidad. El número de quejas de los ciudadanos por esta causa se ha triplicado en los últimos cinco años y, según ha podido constatar la institución, los retrasos llegan a ser de hasta tres años en algunas regiones.

2024 marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of the Office of the Ombudsman in Hong Kong, China. The NSW Ombudsman holds agencies to account for the services they provide to the people of NSW, achieving positive outcomes for the complainants. Casebook July 2024 is the first of what will be biannual reports featuring case studies illustrating how the NSW Ombudsman achieves those outcomes.

Près de 1200 signalements de lanceurs d’alerte dans le secteur privé en 2023
En 2023, première année d'application de la nouvelle loi sur les lanceurs d’alerte, les autorités compétentes ont traité 1010 signalements, qui ont donné lieu à 840 enquêtes. A ce chiffre, il faut ajouter les 209 signalements du secteur privé reçus par le Médiateur fédéral, qui en a transmis 22 aux autorités compétentes pour suivi.
