Ombudsman’s report on policing intoxicated and disorderly conduct
In 2014 the New South Wales Ombudsman completed a review of the operation of the offence of continuing to be intoxicated and disorderly in public. This section provides for police to issue a person with an on-the-spot fine or charge the person for continuing to be intoxicated and disorderly after the person has already been given an opportunity to comply with a formal move on direction from police. The Ombudsman’s final report was tabled in Parliament in 2014.

La actuación se inició a partir de una presentación efectuada por la Asociación sindical del personal del IAPOS cuestionando una disposición del presente año, que fijó nuevos valores para los coseguros y estableció fecha de vencimiento en las órdenes de consulta.
