La Defensoría del Pueblo de la provincia de Santa Fe alerta a los ciudadanos sobre intimaciones de cobranza de deudas truchas enviadas por firmas de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires que no especifican el motivo del pasivo y que configuran en muchísimos casos una estafa. Es por ello que recomienda a quienes reciban estas notificaciones dirigirse a la institución antes de realizar cualquier otra gestión.

On 25 March the World Bank and the IOI organized a round table on „The Role of Ombudsman Offices in Promoting Good Governance and Effective Service Delivery“, held at the headquarters of the World Bank in Washington, DC. The IOI was represented at the discussions by its second Vice-President Diane Welborn and Secretary General Günther Kräuter.
