2015-06-24ACRC Korea and Commonwealth Ombudsman sign MoU
The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of Korea (Chairman Sungbo Lee) and the Commonwealth Ombudsman of Australia (Ombudsman Colin Neave) signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in Canberra on June 10th, 2015 in order to enhance rights and interests of Koreans and Australians living in the other country and cooperation between the two Ombudsmen.

2015-06-16Only one in three people complain to a public service when they are unhappy, according to new research
A research by the Parliamentary & Health Service Ombudsman published today shows that just one-third of people that are unhappy after using a public service actually make a complaint, despite an overwhelming number feeling that they should.The research is based on the results of a national survey, which questioned 4,263 people and focused on the public's attitude over the last 12 months to complaining about those public services, such as the NHS in England, which the ombudsman service investigates in the event of unresolved complaints.

A new paper by the EU Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) reveals the differences between people’s experiences with police stops. It shows that Black people, Asians and Roma are still more likely to be stopped and searched by police, which also affects their trust in policing. FRA will continue providing EU countries with data and guidance to support them in ensuring their policing practices respect people’s fundamental rights.
