The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission of the Republic of Korea and the Ombudsman of the Republic of Indonesia have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The duration of this MOU is 3 years, which may be extended for a further period of 3 years.

The French Ombudsman Jean-Paul Delevoye was elected President of the Economic and Social Council CESE (Conseil Economique, Social et Environnemental). As this new function is incompatible with his duties as an Ombudsman Mr. Delevoye will administer his official duties until a new Médiateur is appointed.

The Irish Ombudsman, Emily O'Reilly, has laid before the Dáil and Seanad a report entitled 'WHO CARES? An Investigation into the Right to Nursing Home Care in Ireland.' This investigation is based on 1,200 complaints received over 25 years regarding the right to long-term nursing home care for older people.
