The IOI’s European Region carried out two surveys among its members. One survey focused on “Own Initiative Investigations” and the other one dealt with the “Implementation of the ADR Directive”, i.e. the EU’s Alternative Dispute Resolution Directive.

53.095 personas están directamente relacionadas con las quejas y consultas tramitadas por el Síndic a lo largo de 2014. El elevado porcentaje de soluciones aceptadas pone en valor la utilidad democrática de la queja ciudadana y muestra una buena colaboración entre el Síndic y los organismos supervisados

Con motivo de sus 25 años de vida, la Defensoría del Pueblo de la Provincia de Santa Fe inicia este 2015 un plan de puesta en valor del edificio donde funciona la Sede Rosario. En este marco, y con la intención de brindar la mejor atención a los ciudadanos, desde el miércoles 21 de enero y hasta que finalicen las obras, la atención al público se realizará en la nueva sede provisoria.

Citizens right to free and fair elections
With the election period drawing near, the Office draws attention to various developments causing concern with regard to the individual’s right to properly participate in the forthcoming political elections. Some of these developments include village council activities that may be discriminatory or coercive of the individual in their effect; and campaign committees influencing voters’ preference by unscrupulous means including bribery.
