Este formato de comunicación es una herramienta más que utiliza de divulgación la Procuración Penitenciaria de la Nación (PPN), organismo oficial dependiente del Poder Legislativo argentino que trabaja para proteger los derechos fundamentales de las personas privadas de libertad a nivel federal.

After receiving complaints from individuals who were denied representation by Legal Aid, an inquiry by OmbudsPEI has resulted in the commitment to create a new internal policy. The policy will ensure fair decisions are made when an application for representation is denied.

The Greek Ombudsmn published a new report on the challenges of migratory flows and refugee protection. It focuses on the conditions and administrative procedures for the reception of applicants for international protection and is based on reports from on-site inspections at Controlled Access Facilities for Temporary Accommodation of Asylum Seekers, carried out by Senior Investigators of the Greek Ombudsman.

El trabajo que viene realizando esta Institución como Defensor del Menor de Andalucía, junto con el Ararteko y el Síndic de Greuges, ha merecido el reconocimiento como agentes que han contribuido con su trabajo a la aprobación del Proyecto de la Ley Orgánica de Protección Integral a la Infancia y a la Adolescencia frente a la violencia.

Ombudsman submits National Ordinances regarding cuts to employment benefits to the Constitutional Court for review
On April 26th, 2021 the Ombudsman of Sint Maarten, Gwendolien Mossel, after careful consideration, submitted the three national ordinances, in connection with cuts to the employment benefits of all (semi) public sector workers, to the Constitutional Court for review. The three national ordinances are: the Temporary National Ordinance Covid-19 cuts, Temporary National Ordinance to amend the terms of employment of political authorities and Temporary National Ordinance on the standardization of top incomes and adjustment of employment conditions at (semi-) public sector entities.

Le 11 mars 2021, le gouvernement arménien a proposé à l’Assemblée nationale de la République d’Arménie un amendement de la loi constitutionnelle sur le Défenseur des droits de l’Homme. Le Président de l’AOMF, Mohamed Benalilou, au nom de tous les membres, a écrit et publié une lettre ouverte dans le but de faire savoir au Président de l’assemblée nationale arménienne “la nécessité impérieuse de prendre en considération les principes et instruments internationaux susvisés et la pertinence fondamentale du maintien des dispositions de l’article 8 (5) de la loi constitutionnelle en question.”

Tras la intervención de la sede de la Defensoría del Pueblo en Huanta, se ha podido advertir que las disposiciones dictadas por el Ministerio de Transportes y Comunicaciones para reglamentar la Ley 29237, que crea el Sistema Nacional de Inspecciones Técnicas Vehiculares, no facilita ni garantiza que los vehículos menores, más conocidos como “mototaxis”, pasen por la respectiva inspección técnica vehicular.
