IOI took part in side event at the UN High-Level Political Forum 2019 on SDGs
As part of the UN High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development in New York (9 July – 18 July 2019) the Permanent Missions of Austria and Malaysia to the United Nations in New York hosted a side event coving the topic of “Protecting the Rule of Law & Human Rights and Advancing Access to Justice”. Parliamentarians for Global Action (PGA) organized the event content-wise and invited several renowned officials to speak and debate about actions and strategies to protect the human rights of democracy activists, to ensure that the “Rule of Law” is “human rights’ centered” under SDG Goal 16 and the role of Ombudsman institutions in this context.

El 5 de Julio pasado una comitiva integrada por la Procuración Penitenciaria de la Nación de Argentina y el Sistema Interinstitucional de Control de Cárceles (SICC) visitó la Alcaidía de Comodoro Py. Ésta tiene por finalidad alojar de manera transitoria a los detenidos que deben declarar en Tribunales, sin embargo pasan allí entre 5 y 30 días

Subvenciones regionales 2011/2012 - convocatoria de propuestas
En vista del éxito de las primeras subvenciones regionales realizadas por el I.I.O. en 2010/2011, la Junta Directiva, en su reunión annual celebrada en Zambia en noviembre de 2011, decidió que el I.I.O. proveería una vez más fondos para proyectos regionales en el año fiscal 2011/2012 con el fin de aumentar la visibilidad de las regiones.

Le 18, 19 et 20 juin 2019, les membres de L’Association des Ombudsmans et des Médiateurs de la Francophonie (AOMF) se sont réunis au Centre de formation et d’échange en médiation de Rabat (Maroc) pour partager leur expertise et bonnes pratiques en médiation sur la question des personnes en situation de handicap et l’accessibilité des services publics.
