Seimas Ombudsmen introduced English summary of annual report 2013
The Seimas Ombudsmen’s Office has introduced an English Summary of the annual report of the activities of the Seimas Ombudsmen’s Office of the Republic of Lithuania in 2013. The Annual Report was presented by the Seimas Ombudsmen Augusitnas Normantas and Raimondas Šukys and approved by the Seimas (Parliament) on 3 June, 2014.

Ombudsman’s report on policing intoxicated and disorderly conduct
In 2014 the New South Wales Ombudsman completed a review of the operation of the offence of continuing to be intoxicated and disorderly in public. This section provides for police to issue a person with an on-the-spot fine or charge the person for continuing to be intoxicated and disorderly after the person has already been given an opportunity to comply with a formal move on direction from police. The Ombudsman’s final report was tabled in Parliament in 2014.

Mr. M. Salman Faruqui, Federal Ombudsman of Pakistan inaugurated the first ever one window Facilitation Desk for Overseas Pakistanis at Benazir International Airport, Islamabad.
