Acting upon the directions by the Federal Ombudsman (Wafaqi Mohtasib) of Pakistan, the Pakistan International Airline (PIA) reimbursed an amount of Rs. 80,820/- that was extra charged by the department from a passenger travelling from Pakistan to the United Kingdom.

The Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) held a symposium on „Addressing children’s vulnerabilities in detention“ in 2014 and published an outcome report which provides an overview of the context and key principles related to children in conflict with the law and deprived of their liberty, as well as the main risk factors and situations which need to be addressed by NPMs.
