On 10 July 2025, Deputy Human Rights Ombudsman Ivan Šelih - who has been leading the Human Rights Ombudsman institution since the conclusion of Ombudsman Peter Svetina’s term on 24 February 2025 - and Deputy Ombudsman Dr. Dijana Možina Zupanc presented the 2024 Annual Report of the Human Rights Ombudsman to the President of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Urška Klakočar Zupančič, MSc. On this occasion, they also presented her with the Annual Report of the National Preventive Mechanism.

Michael DeSilva, the Ombudsman for Bermuda, has submitted a Special Report to the Speaker of the House of Assembly. The report, entitled "Between a Dock and a Hard Place: An Investigation into Marine and Ports' Failure to Implement a Planning Condition for a Mooring Registration", follows an investigation into a complaint made by the children of a local fisherman who had moored his boat in a cove for over six decades. The report concerns the Department of Marine and Ports Services' failure to implement key recommendations addressing a decades-long administrative error that has left a local fishing family without access to their mooring.

Following submission of his 51st Annual Report 2024 to His Excellency, the President of the Republic of Mauritius, Mr Harry Ganoo, G.O.S.K, Ombudsman launched his report, covering the period of 1 January to 31 December 2024 on 10 July 2025 to the Press during an event held at the Conference Room of the Ombudsman’s Office in the presence of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs responsible for Human Rights.
