The Control Yuan Educational and Cultural Committee conducted circuit supervision on 24 April 2023, led by convener Pasuya Poiconx, accompanied by CY Vice-President Lee Hung-chun and a delegation of Control Yuan members. In his 2022 Annual Report released on 25 April 2023, Kwame Addo cites the record increase in complaints to his office, noting that "whether it was through unclear communication, inaccessible services, or inconsistent decision making, the City was not always putting the public first.”

An Northern Ireland Public Service Ombudsman report, released on 15 June 2023, has found that the significant and repeated failures to properly update patients on healthcare waiting lists in Northern Ireland amounted to ‘systemic maladministration’, and in many cases had a detrimental impact on the health and wellbeing of those waiting.
