El Defensor del Pueblo Arístides Lasarte juró la nueva Constitución santafesina
El Defensor del Pueblo de la provincia de Santa Fe, Arístides Lasarte, juró el viernes, el 12 de septiembre de 2025, fidelidad y cumplimiento a la nueva Constitución provincial, reformada y sancionada el 10 de septiembre. Más allá de la importancia institucional para toda la provincia, se trató de un momento trascendental para la Defensoría del Pueblo, ya que el texto reformado de la Carta Magna incluye al organismo, 35 años después de su creación por ley.

La Defensoría del Pueblo aprueba protocolo para prevenir violencia hacia las mujeres
La Defensoría del Pueblo de Panamá aprobó el Protocolo para prevenir, identificar, atender y sancionar la discriminación, la violencia contra las mujeres, el acoso sexual y laboral en la entidad, mediante la Resolución N° DDP-DAJ-56-2025, la cual entró en vigor inmediatamente tras su aprobación. El objetivo es establecer mecanismos efectivos para prevenir y enfrentar situaciones de violencia o discriminación dentro de la institución, en concordancia con el mandato constitucional de la Defensoría.

2025 Complaint Handling Forum
From 27 - 31 October 2025, the Office of the Commonwealth Ombudsman will host its annual Complaint Handling Forum. The 5-part virtual forum will feature speakers from a variety of backgrounds, including an Ombudsman panel discussion featuring the Commonwealth Ombudsman, Iain Anderson, Tax Ombudsman, Ruth Owen and Telecommunications Industry Ombudsman, Cynthia Gebert.
