Les sociétés de distribution d’eau procèdent à la pose d’un limiteur de débit d’eau lorsqu’après plusieurs rappels, la personne n’honore pas ses factures d’eau. Contrairement à l’interruption de fourniture d’eau, le limiteur de débit permet de garder un certain accès à l’eau. Le Médiateur a publié des recommendations en la matière.

Visite effectuée par des étudiants de l’Université Internationale de Floride à l’Institution du Médiateur
Une délégation estudiantine de l’Université internationale de Floride, présidée par le Professeur Allan Rosenbaum, a effectué le mardi 27 février 2018 une visite, troisième du genre, à l’Institution du Médiateur du Royaume, et ce dans le cadre du Partenariat établi entre les Cités et Gouvernements Locaux Unies en Afrique et ladite université.

Raúl Lamberto informó a diputados que en 2017 se iniciaron más de 33 mil expedientes en la Defensoría del Pueblo de la provincia. El defensor del Pueblo brindó un informe de gestión ante la Comisión de Asuntos Constitucionales de la Cámara de Diputados, que preside el diputado Rubén Galassi.

Second annual open meeting of the UK’s Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman
Last year the Parliamentary and Health Service Ombudsman hosted its first annual open meeting for users of its service which provided a platform to hear about and feedback on the work of the Ombudsman. IOI President and Secretary General take part in ENO Conference 2018
Irish Ombudsman and IOI President Peter Tyndall and Austrian Ombudsman and IOI Secretary General Günther Kräuter took part in the annual European Network of Ombudsman Conference on 8-9 March 2018 in Brussels. The conference topics were the future of the EU, current and future challenges for Ombudsmen and cross-border problem solving for EU citizens.

La cárcel de Devoto data de muchos años en la ciudad autónoma de Buenos Aires. Si bien podemos señalar que la misma posee situaciones muy gravosas en cuanto a su mantenimiento, también es cierto que la misma se encuentra sumamente poblada por ciudadanos de la jurisdicción Metropolitana. Aunque el jefe de la Ciudad Autónoma de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires le pide al gobierno nacional que se saque la cárcel de devoto y la envíe a la Provincia, la Procuración Penitencia de la Nación podemos afirmar que esta iniciativa no es original.
