Whistleblower Awareness Day Acknowledges Employee Courage
March 24, 2022 is Whistleblower Awareness Day. It’s a day for recognizing how difficult and yet how important it is to speak up if you are concerned about a possible wrongdoing in your workplace. Saskatchewan’s Public Interest Disclosure Commissioner, Mary McFadyen said, “I want to acknowledge the role of whistleblowers, particularly in the public sector, for having the courage to speak up if they think something is seriously wrong at work.”

Human Rights Commission receives vehicles to monitor activities in the regions
Mrs. Ana Sánchez, ARAP’s Team Leader, handed over today two vehicles to Mr. Joseph Whittal, the Commissioner of the Commission on Human Rights and Administrative Justice (CHRAJ). ARAP, an EU-funded programme, implemented by the Spanish public foundation FIIAPP has been supporting the Commission during the last four years.

Public Protector to sign agreement with Gauteng Premier as part of stakeholder roadshow
The Public Protector South Africa (PPSA) and the Gauteng Provincial Government are set to enter into an agreement aimed at ensuring that requests for investigation-related information, among other things, are responded promptly to expedite investigative processes.
