WORLD: APT publishes Annual Report 2013

In its 2013 Annual Report, the Association for the Prevention of Torture (APT) is pleased to inform that States continued to abide by their legal obligation to protect persons deprived of their liberty and that the APT continued to pave the way towards a world without torture, without degrading treatment, a world in which the dignity and rights of persons deprived of their liberty are respected. CANADA: The Québec Ombudsman plays host to its peers from Djibouti and Haiti

From July 7 to 10, the Québec Ombudsman played host to two delegations from the Ombudsman of the Republic of Djibouti and the Office of the Ombudsman of Haiti.
