Hospital cuenta finalmente con servicio de agua potable
El moderno hospital de Ventanilla era abastecido por camión cisterna desde el año 2007 en que fue inaugurado. A diario atiende a 200 pacientes en sus distintas especialidades y tras la intervención de la Defensoría del Pueblo finalmente cuenta con servicio de agua potable.

The Office of the Parliamentary Ombudsman of Finland received unexpected publicity when the Finnish Broadcasting Company YLE featured the results of an extensive survey on working conditions conducted by the labour protection authorities in 2002-09.

More than 4,000 complaints to ombudsman last year
The Ombudsman received nearly 4,100 complaints last year. In addition, he launched over 60 investigations on his own initiative. Most complaints concerned the police, social welfare and health care, and prisons.

The Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission (ACRC) of Korea conducted a survey on the foreign language services provided by Ombudsman offices around the world from November 5 to November 22 2013, with the support of the IOI Secretariat.
