Norway | Ombudsman publishes Annual Report 2015

The Norwegian Parliamentary Ombudsman has published his annual report 2015. He has also published the annual report 2015 for the national preventive mechanism (NPM), a mandate that the Ombudsman has exercised since Norway ratified the OPCAT in 2013.  

The annual reports were submitted to the Norwegian Parliament and presented for the Standing Committee on Scrutiny and Constitutional Affairs on 29 March 2016. They were both adopted by the Parliament in plenary on 16 June 2016. The NPM annual report was also submitted to the UN Subcommittee on Prevention of Torture (SPT).
